Stupid reasons to withdraw from the Eurovision Song Contest #1: Disagreeing with the current rules of 50% jury / 50% televote and the Big 5…while having placed in the top 10 EVERY YEAR from 2007 onwards except for 2011, when they weren’t in the final. Courtesy of Turkey.

Isn’t that worthy of laughing out loud at the stupidity of their reason? Shouldn’t the Netherlands be complaining of that instead of Turkey? And yet they haven’t, instead, they were the first country announcing their artist for the 2013 contest. Sorry, Turkey, your argument is invalid.
